I love finding deals on my outfits and my kids outfits!!!

My favorite color is red, so you will see a lot of red on here
I’m a curly girl for 4 years now, and I love it, but I do straighten my hair 1-2 times a year.

12 Sweater Dresses I'm obsessed with & How I Styled 2 of them

October 30, 2018

Hello amores!
I’m back! And this time I want to talk about sweater dresses! I have been really loving some sweater dresses this season.
The sweater dress is one of those IT items for the fall / winter and it’s definitely getting to be one of my favorites. You guys know I love a simple one pice outfits.
DRESSES and this is just what a sweater dress is a simple one piece outfit that we can dress up or  down. This Eva Mendes dress I opted for these 2 looks and I’m also showing you how you can mix it up and have fun with it.

So first I wore this Eva Mendes Burgundy Sweater dress to church with,,,, are you ready?  A plaid black and white coat and a leopard scarf. Now we are mixing prints! Black stockings, and black pumps such a classic look. I Also show you how you can wear the scarf 2 different ways and also without a scarf  for warmer fall days, I also dressed  it kind of down for a less formal look with some brown booties and no stockings. You can also wear it some cute sneakers, but I don’t really own those so I wasn’t able to demonstrate that. Definitely can't wait to style this again, stay tuned!

The Gabrielle Union Camel V- Neck Sweater dress I opted to go with a simple black sleeveless long vest, a little long necklace, leopard print pumps and a black bag, I also show you the dress without the vest, and I can't wait to wear this dress again this time with my burgundy Coat and my leopard scarf that I already have in  my closet.

Don't forget to comment I want to know what you think of my blogs, what you would like for me to write about, what else you would like to see here. The fab five fashionistas " Must have fall trend"

October 24, 2018
Hello amores!
Well the fab five fashionistas are back, and this time we bring you must have fall trends!
What is that you would say, well, well the so popular leopard print. This has been so popular this fall that I took my leopard print shoes out of the “giveaway box” lol.

I have been a lover of leopard for ever, I wear this even if it is not on trend, it's just one of those prints that simply allows me to express how I love me, my style and I don't need validation from others

There are endless ways of styling leopard print so my only problem was picking one. . I went for a simple “me style”  that always work, if you don’t know what to wear just make sure you are wearing something that is you. In my case was a pencil skirt, blouse and coat. This year I have been wearing leopard with different colors. I have always wore it with red. But I wanted to be adventurous and go for something different so I pulled out my lavender coat. Simple black heels and black bag to keep it classy.

                                                           Get the look

Black blouse : My exact shoes : My skirt : Similar color coat My exact bag

Now let’s get to my girls. The reason I love collaborating with them is not only because we are almost like sisters now but also because even tho we have similar styles we all bring something different and that just makes an amazing team.

                                               Yolanda
                                       Curlypetiterenee

My sister rocked this simple leopard print dress she really killed it with that red belt and red booties, this is definitely a style I would try I love matching leopard with red. To find out all the details on her outfit please visit her blog Here

                                                   Lydia
                                      Chictostreetstylemom

My sister is really rocking this leopard print dress, she layered it with a black sweater and added her over the knees boots, I am loving this look and it’s really something I would love to try but know I won’t look as awesome as my sis in it. Head over to her blog to see all the details Here

                                              Ayesha
                                        Emaneescloset

She brought her own game and I’m loving it. She shows us how to use leopard print to work, and she’s also mixing prints, yes sis, yes!! I love that she went with this burnt orange to mix it with, the truth is I always was thinking of orange but it was a total different look, I really love this and o need this sweater and of course check out her booties guys. For info about her look please visit her blog Here

                                                   Mary
                                              Curlybyrdie

Mary did that! Seriously her and Yolanda really rocked our favorite color red with their leopard prints. I love how Mary went for a 2 piece leopard and wore it together, this look is so bold and I can’t pull it off the way she did. The red coat is simply everything, and let’s not talk about the red booties also her purse is so cute. To get info about her look please visit her blog Here

Thank you guys so, so much for stopping by and reading, remember to subscribe to my blog, if you don’t follow my girls please head over and follow them.

Also leave me a comment and tell me how would you add leopard to your style this fall.

Love you all and ‘till next time.

Curls and high heels Turns ONE

October 14, 2018

A year ago on October 12th I hit  publish on my very first blog. I am so excited About celebrating my very first Blog anniversary  that I couldn’t leave you guys out. where did this time go? I can’t believe it has been a year since I decided to share my love for fashion with you all openly.

One thing I was told, I didn’t know you were a writer:
I’m not a writer, I do not have the best grammar, you will often find spelling mistakes here and there. But I remember when I was considering opening my fashion blog, I read, how I don’t have to be perfect, brands already have people they pay for this, they are now looking for regular ladies with the ability to influence.

Another thing, oh you are modeling now!
Well I do not consider myself a model, of course!  but yes to become a fashion blogger  there are 2 things you probably need  1- like taking pictures and 2- like fashion this of course is among other things but that doesn’t make you a model.

As a pastor’s wife, I feel this have been a bigger challenge, forget that I’m a Christian and People think Christianity and fashion are like oil and vinegar and absolutely don’t mix, I’m also a pastor’s wife how dare me put myself out there? ugh I'm so vain, right?!!  Lol well that’s a whole other blog.

I am very grateful for this space, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my love  for fashion with all of you.
If I have inspired only one reader I have done my job. Look most bloggers don’t go pass 3 months I’m way pass that. I’m thankful for that. Every day is not great, I don’t always want to post, some days I feel like giving up, but if you know me, you know giving up is not an option.

Now, let’s take a little walk of this past year.
My first blog, I didn't write more than 2 sentences LOL

2nd blog, no it was not a car blog LOL but I still love this dress

That time I took my picture in my formal Room
That time I waited until everyone left church to take pictures
That picture New York & Company sent on their Merry Christmas email
That time my daughter and I froze to take an amazing picture
My first professional photos
One of my Collaborations with the Fab five Fashionistas
That time New York & Company re-posted my photo
That time I wore a jean skirt after almost 15 years
That one picture I can't wait to take with a professional
That time my son got wet to take my pictures in the rain

A few people to thank,
Number ONE and most important, my God, also My husband and kids who have supported me every step of the way. Guys they have to deal with me, take a million pictures some times on just random days but most times right after church, before we go eat because no one is taking pictures after eating right? Lol let’s not talk about all the random places I want to take pictures at and my kids look at me like noooo we shouldn’t do that mom haha!  I also want to thank sisters for always supporting my blog and believing in me.

I want to thank you all, for stopping by and reading it means so much to me. Really a blog it’s a team work and I couldn’t do it alone.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for one amazing year. Here is to many more!

Please leave a comment, subscribe and comment.
